If you like a club it's good. Taylormade always tries to stay ahead of the curve technology wise. Try TGW and also type demo in their search function.

First off, you're most likely longer with your new irons because they're longer than your old irons. I'd also bet the lofts are stronger (you're club may have a 6 etched on the sole, but it's actually a 5 in terms of loft) in the new set. That's why you hit them longer. That won't work with a driver. If you're carry distance is 200 yards, you're going to want more than 11* of loft. A lower center of gravity would also be a benefit, so that means the SuperDeep is out (it has a high CG compared to other models). The SuperTri is basically what would happen if the original r9 had a kid with the r9 460. The r9 had MWT and FCT at a 430cc head; the r9 460 had FCT, no MWT and a 460cc head... the SuperTri has MWT, FCT AND a 460cc head... which makes me wonder why they didn't just do that in the first place. Marketing at its finest. But I digress... It really doesn't matter what you buy, so long as it's properly fit. Other than the SuperDeep, I think you'd be OK with either the SuperFast or SuperTri. But honestly, since it seems that you're fixated on Taylormade products, any of the r-series (r7. r7 LTD, r9, r9 460, etc., etc.) would be a really good club... so long as it's properly fit.

It's a fair club really, have hit Taylormade drivers for years and this one is not as long as versions of the R7 series. It is fun to play with the movements in head.

Retailers are limited by manufacturer enforced minimum pricing on new items, so chances are you're not going to find anywhere where that driver is cheap. Search option on the internet works great if you use it, not so good if you don't.
