Golfing for beginners???????

Whats every thing I need to know for a beginner. One question i had was what is all the different types of clubs and what are they used for. And just tell me any other things i need to know

So your irons are numbered from 1-9 the higher the number the more loft you get on your ball aka less distance. you also have you sand wedge which it really lofted this is used to get you out of the sand. You have your woods 1 wood is your driver this is the club you use to get the most distance 3 and 5 woods are for far distances also but less then your driver. you also have a putter which you use on the green. Also in the game of golf there is rules on etiquette which you will need to know. The best way to get good at golf try to play with people that are better then you and be open to tips also. i hope i helped, good Luck

There is the pitching wedge or PW, 9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2, and 1 irons 5 and 7 woods and the classic driver which hits the ball the farthest. There is also the putter of course and a sand wedge for the short chip shots. Just try not to swing to hard and keep your head down. Straight back and straight through.

The higher the number on your club means to hit higher and shorter shots.
