Its the time that your group is allowed to begin their round of golf. They call it a tee time because the start for every golf hole is the teeing ground, so its the time you go to your tee. The times generally start around 6:30-8:00 in the morning and go until it gets to dark to play. The course usually staggers the starting times every 7-11 minutes in order to evenly space the groups in an attempt to prevent a backup. They most likely offer well more than two a day, however there may be two blocks of times. The course may start groups on both holes 1 &10 in order to get more groups out, however they can only do this for about 2 hours until the groups begin to change 9's. Because of this they may begin teetimes at 7:00-9:00 and then stop until about 1:00 in order to let all groups play through and then begin to let more people out to play.

It's a reservation to play golf. Many courses have these so that a group doesn't have to wait around for the first tee to open up.

Some courses do not have tee times, but if you show up at a busy time, your group could have a long wait to play.

It's a reservation to play golf. At almost all courses you need one to play on the weekend.
