Read about Nick Faldo's swing was suited for the links courses more than the U.S.,so he had to adjust.

How and why would a swing differ for a european /links course?

Golf swings differ because of the course architecture. The wind factor and length of fairways also plays a part. European courses have more wind conditions that require a flatter ball flight than U.S. Also the grass cuttings are longer on the European courses giving more challenge to the hitting of the golf ball.

The easiest way to learn golf like a pro is by following "The Simple Golf Swing" program. It's primarily a 31 page eBook that teaches golfers how to make solid contact with the ball, how to avoid hitting fat, how to avoid slicing, how get more power, accuracy, and consistency in your swing. Consistency being the number 1 golf skill.

You not only get the eBook though, you also receive a ton of extra material including video, lessons on putting, driving, chipping, sand play etc. Here is their official site: http://www.golfswingguru.net

Euro swing has a lower ball flight with roll perfect for a windy links course american swing has a much higher ball flight with less roll out perfect for less windy conditions
