I hit these the other day and I really liked how they played. What is the general consensus on these guys?

Depends on what kind of player you are. If you are a high handicap, then these are nice and forgiving. A low handicap and these feel like garbage with little workability. Mid handicap people tend to have mixed feelings about them. If you like the slingshots, then these are right for you. If you dislike the slingshots, start looking at something else.

They would look great at the bottom of the lake on 18!
All kidding aside, if you hit them well, and they cater to your game type, buy them. A certain brand iron is not what makes it the correct iron for you game. I would recommend getting professionally fitter if you a serious golfer, if you are just a recreational golfer and you like the feel, hit good and have the loot, buy em, put em in your bag, and go hit the links!
Demo some Callaway's also, X-20's (hint hint).
