I'm trying to find out what the qualifications are to recieve a PGA Tour card.?

Qualifying by playing in Q-school (essentially a big qualifying tournament) is one way to get a card. Another way is to play on a feeder tour like the Nationwide Tour and be one of the top players. I believe the top 5 players or so qualify for a PGA tour card for the next year.



Either way, I agree with the guy above that qualifying is extremely hard (knew a lot of great players that couldn't make it).

Survive the asswhipping that will be dished out at Q-School....If your handicap is not well into plus figures (at least +2) you don't have a prayer.



I have friends who were four year collegiate all americans and none of them have been able to make it so far.
