Golf balls are made so well that they all perform very well. However if you want more control or you want max distance or something specific for putting then you need a special ball. Most people I have worked with want max distance. If you do then you need a fitted driver then get a ball that will compensate for your irregular swings. For example you want a driver no matter your speed that imparts about 2200-2600 rpm's with a 14' launch angle. Most people with high swing speeds actually need more loft and tee the ball higher. Once you find the right driver look at your misses. If you are pushing the ball then get a higher spin ball. It will help to keep your misses in play. If you are hitting slices or hooks on misses get a distance ball which will lower your spin rate to keep the ball on a straighter path. Good luck

The easiest way to learn golf like a pro is by following "The Simple Golf Swing" program. It's primarily a 31 page eBook that teaches golfers how to make solid contact with the ball, how to avoid hitting fat, how to avoid slicing, how get more power, accuracy, and consistency in your swing. Consistency being the number 1 golf skill.

You not only get the eBook though, you also receive a ton of extra material including video, lessons on putting, driving, chipping, sand play etc. Here is their official site: http://www.golfswingguru.net

For your Swing Speed Either a Callaway HX tour or Pro V1 or Pro V1x (no big difference) But once you Choose one stick with it. Your more likely to stay consistent if you use the same ball. If buying any of these balls give you hesitation to buy them because of the price i recomend to not get them because you will be putting pressure on yourself when you have water hazards and you dont want to lose the ball. That will keep you from thinking where you want to put it and making you focus on where you dont want to put it. And for some reason you put it where you dont want it to go.

If it is truly that fast and you hit it straight.... Titleist. Pro V's

If you are flailing at the ball with an over the top swing, it doesn't matter. Hit Dunlop X-outs. They are all going 60 yards right anyway.

The ball is really more important for approach shots anyway. The best balls are either titeliest pro v1 or prov1x. If you want lots of spin on your approach shots go with the prov1's the x's remove spin.
