The same club you would use in a real bunker. If you are talking about green-side bunkers the usual club of choice is a sand wedge which usually has about 56 degrees of loft and and about 12 degrees of bounce (the angle between the sole and face of the club). Some people use a 60 degree lob wedge if the bunker is very deep. If you are in a fairway bunker then just hit what you normally would from that distance as long as it can get over the lip.

The first 2 answers are correct. It all depends on the type of bunker, the placement of the pin, green speed, etc. For instance, if you're in a green side bunker and the pin is 5 feet away from you, you'd want to hit a lob wedge out of the bunker. If you're 20 yards away, a pitching wedge would be a better option than a sand wedge.
Practice with the clubs you'd hit on the course.

Why not try them all? The short game wizard Seve Ballesteros could knock a 3 iron to within 3 feet from a greenside bunker. It's all about the situation and what is necessary.

There isn't a free lunch on the golf course or any other place. And, it doesn't matter whether you are from Las Vegas or Cleveland! Pay the proper fees and enjoy the golf course and practice facilities.

If it's a green side then I would practice with all my wedges for feel, effect, and different shot options. Sometimes I try some short irons to see how the ball behaves for fun.

A sand wedge depending on the lie. You can use an 8 iron if the ball is plugged.
