There's a story that goes like this: Two guys are standing on the tee box that overlooks a lake. One says to the other, "look at those idiots down by the lake fishing in the rain". Hope that answers your question.

Ya you can

Golfing in the rain is not fun at all though but if you are in school golf you may need to play in it, AND ALWAYS QUIET IF THERE IS LIGHTENING.

Have a golfbag and cover your clubs with a cover that comes with the golf bag, or you can buy one. Then also have a rain jacket or a protective suit because wet clothes and a terribable thing during golfing, have many towals to keep your hands and grips dry, wet grips can really mess up your game.

Yes, absolutely....if you are up for it. The rain only makes things more difficult. Situations like pooling water in the fairways and bunkers, slippery grips and slow greens arise during a rainy round. I suggest keeping a towel on your bag and bag covers inside your bag to protect against a surprise rain. Most people prefer not to play because no one enjoys being wet but if you have proper rain gear its alright. Also, be careful because rain can also bring thunderstorms and everyone needs to get off the course when there is lightning.

I have. It depends on how hard it's raining though. If there is lightning in the area then they'll call you off the course. You should be plenty prepared for it or you won't have much fun. I'd take at least 3 towels. One to keep your grips dry, one to keep your cart seat dry and a third to wipe of your club faces. Take plenty of gloves if you wear gloves. One of those rainsuits does the trick. They're waterproof. It will work out if you're prepared.

yes you can it always turns into a momorable experience too. if your in a cart its not too bad but if walking bring an umbrella and a couple of towels either way. i had to play in the rain when played on the high school golf team, take bread loaf bags and wrap them over your socks then put on your shoes trust me its great. and if theres lightning get out your 1 iron and hold it high over your head to avoid lightning because hell even god cant hit a 1 iron

Yes

Keep two towels with you... One to dry off your grips, the other to wipe down your club faces... Use the cover that came with your bag. You can use winter gloves (a bit thicker than your standard glove) and wear a hat, outer shell, etc.

A course will be unplayable when water accumulates in bunkers and on the greens. Water in the fairway is casual water and should be played as such. Winter rules can apply (pic, clean, place) or as Tiger says, Pick, Clean and Cheat. = )

Sure. Its not much fun, but, yes. If there is lightening involved, not a good idea.
