Both of the irons you mention are considered, BLADES! Try Bridgestone Pocket Cavity's...Mizuno MP52's or MP57's. Maybe Mizuno, MX series...they are forged. Even Macgreagor forged cavity back's...great price since Golfsmith bought them out.

But stay away from the 2 you are looking at...they have v-grooves, are blades, and aren't the most forgiving in the world.

I would like to choose the titleist ap2 irons .Because they are multi-material, dual cavity, technically forged .I hope you also would love them .

MI does not know his clubs. Neither of those clubs are blades. How'd he get top contributor nod? The name of the Nike irons gives it away. Anyhew, I've not hit the AP2, but have hit the Split Cavity and loved them. Very nice feedback. I play the Nike Pro Combos which are forged as well so they didn't feel any different than those, but the only thing that kept me from getting them was the money. When I get the money, I will get those Split Cavity irons. I've read ratings on both and they received similar scores. I'm a Nike guy so I'd recommend the Nike irons. There were a lot of guys on the President's Cup team that played Nike irons(5 out of the 12)

I also agree with Jim. I would like to choose the titleist ap2 irons .Because they are multi-material, dual cavity, technically forged .I hope you also would love them . I recently bought the AP2 irons and they are so nice, the look is amazing same with the feel, and hitting the club feels natural. Nike irons tend to be harder to hit. Also, neither irons are blades, dont know wat MI is saying.
