Honestly, golf clubs are golf clubs. A golf club is an inanimate object. It does nothing by itself until it gets put in the hands of someone. There is no set of clubs that can automatically make you an ace golfer. Clubs are as only good as the person swinging them. I have a set of brand new clubs I bought a year and half ago, and I play with a friend who has a set of 20 year old Pings (the woods are actually made of wood). He destroys me every time we play.

Yeah, the guy above me is correct, Acer is a company that makes "bargain" golf clubs. For golf clubs that aren't brand name I guess they are ok, though I prefer larger brand names (personally). You should hit them and see if you like them.

The easiest way to learn golf like a pro is by following "The Simple Golf Swing" program. It's primarily a 31 page eBook that teaches golfers how to make solid contact with the ball, how to avoid hitting fat, how to avoid slicing, how get more power, accuracy, and consistency in your swing. Consistency being the number 1 golf skill.

You not only get the eBook though, you also receive a ton of extra material including video, lessons on putting, driving, chipping, sand play etc. Here is their official site: http://www.golfswingguru.net

Never heard of them, and never hit them. So I don't know. I play with well known brands only. Even if they're second hand, or last year/ two year ago models. I believe that the big brands spend money on their R&D, a lot more than the little guys do, they have better quality control, better after sales support.

Not to mention the buzz factor (confidence) from hitting a nice looking clubs.

Acer's are a line of "inspired by" components from Hireko.( http://www.hirekogolf.com/ )

If built by a competent clubmaker.. then they are damn near as good as the big name OEM's.

Don't let the elitists tell you that Acer's suck when they don't have a clue what they are talking about.
