Steve Williams, Tiger Woods' caddie, gets paid very well, though it isn't published exactly how much he makes. Most caddies earn 10 percent of a first-place check, 8 percent of a top-10 and 6 percent of any other check; given that he's the caddie for arguably the best golfer in history, though, it's safe to say that Williams earns a larger cut. Most caddies also earn a base salary of $1000 per tournament, but again, Williams likely earns more than that. In 2001, one of Tiger's better years, it is estimated that Williams earned more than $880,000 just from official events alone.

That's not all, though. Williams also gets paid for endorsements for wearing hats with manufacturers' logos on them. When you figure in endorsements, he easily makes over 1.5 million dollars per year.

That is a private unpublished amount. PGA full time caddies work on a salary and usually get a bonus at the end of the year based somewhat on the players performance ans earnings. The old idea that caddies get 7 to 15 % of the players earnings just doesn't hold water any longer. Any player winning a $2,000,000 first prize is not about to give $200,000 to the caddy for a weeks work. Steve Williams & other top end caddies would earn upwards of $250,000 for a years worth of work, of course all their expenses are paid as well. .

caddies usually get paid anywhere between 7 to 10 percent but I'm sure Tiger's caddie gets paid a "flat" amount since Tiger expects perfection and 24 hour commitment - I'm sure Stevie makes over $500k per year and has the best seat in the house during all of Tiger's wins

Steve Williams is rumoured to be the highest paid 'sportsperson' in New Zealand, but to be honest he doesnt come up against much, the next closest i could think would be Russel Coutts, the team NZ traitor ( he switched to sail for a landlocked country, and won the americas cup off the country he had won it for 4 years previous ) and i imagine he would be getting paid alot, i would say at a guess Steve Williams earns around $10 million a year

i'm also of the age to undergo in recommendations the total golfers you referenced. golfing became lots a lot less of a business enterprise than it really is at present. The gamers at present have managers, brokers and swing experts that go back and forth with them. i will't imagine of any stand-on my own golfers at present. yet Tiger's replace hasn't been born yet or is amazingly youthful. Tiger ruled Junior golfing and novice golfing and at the same time as he joined the specialist ranks his domination persevered and 12 seasons later he nonetheless dominates. No junior or novice taking section in at present has credentials reminiscent of Tiger at the same time as Tiger became taking section in at those ranges. yet i wish i'm getting to work out the subsequent "Tiger".

Obviously no concrete evidence, but yes quite abit. Figure this, last year or this year Tiger won a car and he gave it to Steve. Stuff like that let's you know what type of relationship they have - personally and financially.
